FAQs
Q: What are your rates?
A: Rates may vary depending on the specialties and grades you require, who is available in your region and what they are prepared to work for. It is in any agency’s interest to get the best possible rates for all of their workers, but this may produce wildly different costs for the same sort of resource to you. We prefer to work closely with hospitals to smooth out these peaks and troughs.
Q: Are locums entitled to Holiday Pay, and if so, how many days? And how much a day?
A: Yes. We pay Holiday Pay in accordance with the current European Union Working Time Directives.
Q: Do locums receive Sick Pay?
A: Yes. Sick Pay is paid in accordance with the current Government Legislation.
Q: Will you be able to help find locums accommodation?
A: Yes. Should you not be able to provide the locum with accommodation, every effort will be made to find suitable accommodation at a reasonable cost.
Q: What locums do you have available?
A: We have over 15,000 candidates of all specialties and grades in our database covering both social care and nursing.
Q: How long will it take you to find a locum?
A: It is in our interest to find you a locum as quickly as possible, as long as we don’t compromise quality. Giving as much notice as possible and being clear in the kind of vacancy you have will give us the best chance of getting this balance right for you. In all cases we will keep you regularly updated with our progress.
